About the Author

After growing up in southeastern Ohio, Wayne Pletcher worked briefly for the Department of Justice and FBI in Washington D.C. during the turbulent 1960s. He returned to Ohio University for a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry then went on to the University of Michigan to discover new science and earn his PhD.
